CONTENTMENT

Have you ever, at any one time, had the feeling that life is bad, real bad, and you wish you were in another situation?

You find life make things difficult for you, work sucks, life sucks,everything seems to go wrong...

Read the following story... it may change your views about life:

After a conversation with one of my friends, he told me despite taking 2 jobs, he brings back barely above 1K per month, he is happy as he is.I wonder how he can be as happy as he is considering he has to skimp his life with the low pay to support a pair of old parents, in-laws, a wife, 2 daughters and the many bills of a household.

He explained that it was through one incident that he saw in India that happened a few years ago when he was really feeling low and touring India after a major setback.He said that right in front of his very eyes he saw an Indian mother chop off her child's right hand with a chopper. The helplessness in the mother's eyes, the scream of pain from the innocent 4-year-old child haunted him until today.

You may ask why did the mother do so;
had the child been naughty, had the child's hand been infected??
No, it was done for two simple words -- -TO BEG!
The desperate mother deliberately caused the child to be handicapped so that the child could go out to the streets to beg.Taken aback by the scene, he dropped a piece of bread he was eating half-way. And almost instantly, a flock 5 or 6 children swamped towards this small piece of bread which was covered with sand, robbing bits from one another. The natural reaction of hunger.Stricken by the happenings, he instructed his guide to drive him tothe nearest bakery. He arrived at two bakeries and bought every single loaf of bread he found in the bakeries. The owner was dumbfounded but willingly sold everything. He spent less than $100 to obtain about 400 loaves of bread (this is less than $0..25 per loaf) and spent another$100 to get daily necessities.Off he went in the truck full of bread into the streets. As he distributed the bread and necessities to the children (mostly handicapped) and a few adults, he received cheers and bows from these unfortunate. For the first time in his life he wondered how people can give up their dignity for a loaf of bread which cost less than $0.25. He began to tell himself how fortunate he is. How fortunate he is to beable to have a complete body, have a job! , have a family, have thechance to complain what food is nice and what isn't nice, have the chance to be clothed, have the many things that these people in frontof him are deprived of...

Now I begin to think and feel it, too!

Was my life really that bad?

Perhaps... no, I should not feel bad at all...

Maybe the next time you think you are, think about the child who lost one hand to beg on the streets.

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past,you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

ITS COOKING TIME WITH MISSY BLOOGER

The above is called "Sweet Corny"

You need :

a can of crean sweet corn
chicken fillet
dried mushroom / any other mushroom <--- its not a must la
dried shrimps
vegetables (any kind, from brocoli to kai lan)
1 egg

The process

chop the chicken fillet into small pieces and mirinate them with light soya sauce and little bit of pepper.
soak the shrimps and mushrooms

Cooking Time

heat up the wok with little bit of oil
add in the chicken silces and cook till it turn slightly white
pour in the cream corn and maybe 1/2 bowl of water
stir well
add in the egg white, tiny bit of sugar and salt
DONE with the sweet corn chicken

Part 2 <--- to do like the above picture

boil the vegetables till its cook
place them around a plate together with the mushroom n shrimps
add the sweet corn chicken in the center

VIOLA!

dad : I hired the maid and the maid give me eat white bread with spread in the morning while i gave her doughnuts to eat.

mum : told u she know how to enjoy liao what.

brought my girl and the maid out to plaza singapura, on the way back home in the cab, both of them are enjoying the breadtalk breads that i gotten for them. YES! THE BOTH OF THEM, i am not eating any.

baby suddenly throw a piece of the bread on the carpet.
maid : *picked up the bread and give back to baby while munching on her bread*
me : wati! how can u do that? bread dropped on the floor, u still wan to give wanqi eat. throw again later.

me : picked it up. how many times must i tell u?

min laters..... arrived at home..... aft we get off the cab to take the stuffs from the boot. the driver came down and start to clean up the mess and start screaming at me in chinese angrily.

HELLO !!! I am back from my trip .... Here's the update on what happen on my trip for the past week.

12 august 2007,
5.45am - on the way to changi airport (sg)

our flight was around 7.30am, we woke up around 4.30am to wash up and prepare before i changed the still sleeping little girl at 5am. She was still sleeping when i am changing her, but halfway thur, she was awoken by none other my dear mother who were making quite a bit of noises out side (i closed my room door, so outside is my living & dining area).. It was like a good and bad thing that she is awake. Good is that we don not need to fear that a slight movement or noise is going to wake her up, bad thing is that SHE IS GOING TO MAKE A HELL LOT OF NOISE ON THE AIR PLANE IF SHE IS NOT GOING TO SLEEP.

We checked in as soon as we arrived at the airport, check in 4 baggages and had breakfast at the canteen (basement).

Checking in to the hotel called 'Langham Place Hote' located near mongkok mtr station, 10 min walk to 'The Ladies Market'. The hotel is rather new, around 2 years old, its totally great and nice, don believe check out the photos and how levion was enjoying her bath time.

The Ladies Market is the place (i wouldn say its the greatest place) to shop for cheap stuffs, its like our bugis street but its much longer den our bugis street, the ladies market consist of around 4 streets long, and its 3 times bigger den our bugis street.

13 august 2007, hong kong.

we went to Lai Chi Kok for shopping, the stuffs there ARE CHEAP, hmm not cheap cheap cheap but its still cheap la, as compare to what they are selling in sg, Lai Chi Kok are like the area for wholesale products, and most of the retailers there only sell wholesale and those who own a shop/stall and have to be able to produce a name card before being able to purchase their shop at wholesale price, some of the shops there do sell single pieces too but it will be more higher price.

For example, i went in to this accessories shop, they sell totally nice pieces and i ask for wholesale price (thank god, i got my own name card/sticker tags along with me or else)

I brought :

3 gold chain necklaces with charm
3 silver chain necklaces with charm
2 ear rings
3 bracelets

with wholesale price, i paid around hk$1020.

without wholesale price, i will have to pay around hk$3000.

i told u levion loved this hotel .... she basically want to stay in there the whole day and enjoy her bubble bath.

And it was also on this day, that she decided to pose for the camera, beware lots of posing...

this shop just opposite the langham place, sell really good mango desserts.

a LV bag (its on discount and i cant resist saying NO)

key chains x 6 pieces - cos 6 pieces for hk$100 joseph got them for his office stuffs

some pig tapes and a pig key lock (i keep stuffs that consist of cute pigs, cows and some times mickey mouse vintage kind)

going to thailand

its going to be a long ride there, so levion decided to get a nap....

time for boarding.....

say bye bye to hong kong and hello to thailand in around 3 hours time.

kids meal for levion, but well....

levion got her own seat and own kid meal but its all wasted cos she didnt sit in her seat and nv eat the meal cos WE WERE CARRYING HER thurout the whole air trip as she is sleeping.

as usual, its a must for us to pray at 4 face buddha when we are at bangkok.

Saw the sign, its beauty buffet, located at siam square, they sell make up and beauty products, its pretty good stuffs they got there, from korean mostly. not sure if they are going to be around the next time i go back to bangkok. cos the shops they changed very fast.

And levion went to kiss this dog by the road side,

and i saw this, i was a bit shocked, cos they sell lolita and j-rock clothings and items there. Prices are pretty not the usual 199 or 299 pricings, on the higher pricings they are but their materials are good. Located at the siam square when the siam cinema is.

Home sweet home.

Back to sg home at around 8++pm.

After we reach home to unpack, we brought the stuffs and lao po bin that we brought at hong kong, and the medicated oil and cream, 3 bags that are meant for his sis n mum and durian stick down to his mum place to hand the stuffs to them.

So by the time we are back home again was already 11.30pm. *yawnz*

Yawn... finally i am done with this very long posting. Photos are randomly taken out to post here, cos i took over 250+ photos and they will be up on my multiply soon i hope.

last night ellen had dreamt of yao jin... It was so real that he wants us to gather to visit him... In the dream, we only see him but no one else can... Daniel and i (sally) will be going this sun... who wants to go...Pls msg mi (sally)... Pls pass this msg around. Thank You!

I am not too sure if i can make it cos i got to take care of levion and its 7th month so i cant bring her to this kind of place too, and my dad wouldnt be around on sun cos he will be playing manjong and i cant leave levion alone at home with the maid and my mother (i am sure some of u can understand why). I will have to confirm with sally again i guess.

Today, was my last session for the SDU class, it will excellent, did something which i am quite pleased with, pictures of what i have done for classes will be up after my trip so just bear with it first okay.

On a happy side, hubby brought psp (silver), its the basic set costing $290, and we brought a game called "50 cent" around $40.

I know, silly baby, we are spending money even before our trip.... hahaha

Guys, not to worry, i will be back with lots of gifts and not forgetting all of your shopping list items (its a lot okay!)

It's nice being able to meet up long time friend aka sister. We have know each other for the past 10 years or so, we hardly get to meet up not to even mention now which its even harder, we hardly get to talk to one another too, but all these doesnt stop us from caring for one another, calling one another to complaint or to plain gossip or talk rubbish.

Recently, i been a good girl, stayed at home almost everyday except only to attend my current sat morning class (10 am - 1.30 pm) which was yesterday, class was better den the mod 1 cos its not abt basic anymore. Was kinda broing to stay home everyday with almost nothing to do (housework are done by the maid, well i think she does the house work) and so bascially there isnt much stuffs for me to do except to ask the maid to 'get to work' and looking after the little monster.

02 August 2007 - Vivo City

Father and daughter in the cab, heading down to vivo. Ever since the maid arrive, its now a very rare thing that we are out of the house (we as in levion n myself), its unlike the usual days where very often the both of us will go shop around in town till evening time or meet up with my friends and hang around. Now, its like a VIP thing *?$#!#$#%*&^

Back to the vivo city trip, well, as usual, the both of them will have some fun in the cab on the way down and upon reaching, daiso was the first stop cos we need to get some needs for the tour, followed by a short round at the pets safari just next door and after which how can i ever forgotten about my doughnuts (if u have no idea what am i talking abt, den too bad! or u could refer to my older post where i brought more a dozen of doughnuts) and dined in at The Mussel Guys where alfred is currently working at, food wasnt that bad, can eat but there is this sale guy whom have a slight or should i say quite a bit of a attitude problem *&#^%#^$

okay okay ! I know i haven been updating my blog for the last 2 weeks. But you cant blame on me, you know. I am busy packing my travelling bags and not forgetting helping joseph and levion (since she is too young to know what is packing and while he is too lazy to even start packing), having my Scrapbook Design & U classes every sunday (tml will be last class for for module 1, next week will be every sat), "looking after" the maid, pack up the store room and my ex room (u cant imagine how much stuffs have i thrown away, its seriously more then 10 boxes for clothings, books, accessories, rubbish, old school notes and researches notes etc)........

And if u haven notice, i changed my blogskin reluctantly... i love my previous skin but there seems to have a little bit of problems with the html which seems to be not for me to solve it cos no matter what i do it just not work it right, so i do to changed the skin and come up with the new one with the help of other 4 skins templates and a new graphic which i 'stole' from another blogskin.... *oops*

Well, most of you by now should know that i am flying soon (another 13 more days or so) so, if u haven give me ur shopping lists please kindly do so FAST ! don give me last min shopping list ah ....

1) The Maid

Is it a good thing to have a maid at home?

Its like a "YES" & "NO"

Yes, cos someone can take care most of the household chores for me so i can be lazy ( i love to cook but i hate doing the dishes, i like my house to be clean and neat but my mum do so otherwise lalalalala ). The maid can do the cleaning and making the house neat and clean, at times help me to take care of my baby girl too.

No, cos i am more tired den ever since the maid arrived a couple of weeks ago. Normally its not surprising that i am still online despite 2am but now, its surprising that i am STILL online at 2am. *note the difference* nowadays, i will be sleeping latest at 11pm or so. If u have no idea how came if a maid around the house to help out can make me so tired. It's because, i got to 'supervise' her and teach her how to cook and clean up the house and teaching her here and there and handling my baby girl at the same time. *faint*

seriously speaking, i am not the one who wants a maid (some of u guys should roughy know the story) but why am i doing the most stuffs... *gosh*

A conversation btw my mum and me a couple of days ago :

me : i am so tired
ma : ya lor, how come recently u been sleeping so early ah?
me : of cos early la. i am very tired you know !!
ma : how come ah? normally u will use ur computer until late late de ma
me : i got to teach the maid la, take care of baby girl la

me : don know u get a maid is to help me or to give me more problems

ma : sure will de la, cos hor, joseph hor, last time also keepy complaining he is tired, den i everytime will tell him to bear for a while longer. so see i now hired a maid le lor. so he also nv complain tired le right?
me : he not tired but now become i MORE tired le lor
ma : den how? he complain he tired, i hired 1 maid, u already slp at 11pm. now u complain tired, i hired another maid to help you ah. den u will not be sleeping at 11pm le lor, u will sleep at 8pm le lor.
me : I WILL SLEEP EVEN BEFORE DINNER TIME !!!!!

2) My Next Step

sometime i am wondering, hw will my next step be? there are a couple of stuffs going thur in my mind but i have yet make a firm step/conculsion of them yet. there are a certain things that i know i should be doing and have been pulling them away and away. there are also certains things that i cant be doing alone but its seems hard to really get things done with more den 1 person.

me : she on leave for 1 week, i already nearing to explode le. but i tot she wan to go on working

dad : u know her pattern de la.

me : true true.

i love my mother dearly and so is my dad, but sometimes or should i say most of the time my dear mummy behave like a little baby, naive, childish, spoilt brat and need lots of attention and pampering and she is also a lady who is very highly over sensitive kind. so its not easy to handle her.

i love my mother despite those unhappy qurrals here and there thurout my 20++ years, but come again, who doesn qurral with their parents.

BEFORE THE DINNER....

Guess, you guys must be wondering what dinner am i talking about right? hahaha ~~ its a lady who have been in my life for the past 20 over years, a lady who never get tired from nagging about how messy the house is, how late i always get home, how expensive the bills are etc etc, this lady is none other then my mum la, need i say more.. =P

So, well, as i say, before the dinner.... i brought levion to I.C.A (formly known as S.I.R building) to do her passport, actually wanted to do online but its seems that she don have a suitable photo for me to crop into passport size and that i don want to have unnesscessary delay in getting her the passport, but before i went down, i called up the customer service to make sure everything but while i got to wait for nearly an hour before anyone picked the bloody phone up to answer my following questions

what is the requirement needed in the photo for online application?

must it be in white background?

how much to i have to pay for online application?

how long must i wait the the application to be approved?

4 questions and yet i got to wait for 1 hour, so i asked the following since it seems that i don have the photo that meet the min requirements

1. how long will the Q be if i go down to do the application?

she told me its roughly an hour and that its best to go down before 11 am (at that point of time, it was already 10:45am) *WELL DONE*

So, i quickly prepare myself while joseph handle levion so we managed to left home around 11:15am......

I.C.A building story, arrived at 11:35am,

joseph brought levion to take her passport size photos while i went ahead to make enquires about how to go about getting her passport done.

the guy at the enquire counter told me to fill up the application form, paste her photo down, pay either by nets or credit cash and drop the form into the application box, all can be done at level one.

Me: that's all

Him : Yes, mdm. That's all. And the passport will be ready for collection sometimes after next tuesday.

Me : And ....

Him : Just bring along your daughter and her birth cert, your ic for the collection.

Me : anything else that need to be done now beside this form?

Him : No, mdm.

Me : Thanks.

DINNER TIME

Pre celebrated my mummy's birthday last night ( her actual day is coming sat ), dad actually reserved a table at Ming Xiang, but we ended up having buffet at Furama (hahaha~).

Well, every year on my mum's birthday dinner, beside myself & my dad, there will be none other then miss shann & mr journ, and also not forgetting my princess miss levion and the big fat mr joseph.

Dinner was great, fondue was even greater..... and seriously ITS NEVER AN EASY TASK TO TAKE A PROPER PICTURE TOGETHER WITH SHANN & JOURN !!!!!!

We managed to brought levion for a swim (at my mum-in-law's place) last thursday, as the two kids (shann & journ) are back from shanghai, so they tagged along with us.The two kids were staying over @ my place on wednesday night, and oh boy, it was pretty tiring to actually entertained shann and journ all at the same time.

Shann = glued to my lap top and together the both of us were chatting and browsing thur the websites
Journ = want me to play with him, psp, gameboy, ds, ps 2.... u name it

Journ = can use my laptop to play rollar coaster tycoon 3 till 1130pm
Shann = can use my laptop after 1130pm

So, u see, journ and shann were like forever fighting to use my laptop everytime they are at my place cos he want to use it to play games while she want to use it to chat online and etc so that explains why we had to come up with an timetable or sort to prevent any war.While, as usual, i ended up 'playing' the rollar coast tycoon 3 for journ instead of him playing cos he wants me to build the coasters and the park lalalalalallaalallalalala.......... so i got 'play' the game while he 'supervise' and when its shann's turn, she got to msn-ing her way thur while i 'supervise' but as shann was more glued to the lap top then journ so i got to have some 'spare' time when shann is using the laptop but my 'spare' time wasnt spare too, cos i need to play other games on other consoles with journ... from psp to ps2... phew*

So, after all the gamings and msn-ings and war and laughters ..... all of us slept at 4AM!!!!

What have i been up to these 2 days?

Yes. I have been trying out with my new baby (my canon iP4200 printer) and scrapbooking. Its so much easier to scrap now that i have my photo cum document printer by my side, i can play around with the photos sizes and printing texts for journalling. But something is different is time remember i did mention something like my layouts concepts are changing now. Is it the concepts are changing or am i just playing around with other ideas and sick of the old one?? hmm...

Whatever & Anything

Now i have somemore figure out the idea behind Whatever & Anything (i am talking abt the drinks). We all know Whatever is Non-carbonated while Anything is carbonated rite, BUT i have figure out that everytime you take a can of either Whatever or Anything, you most likely will end up with different drink.

What make me think so?

Joseph brought back a can of Whatever and a can of Anything few days ago and before hand he have already drank a can of Anything (so there is a total of 3 cans of drinks).

Day 1 ::-
I had Whatever and it tasted like ice lemon tea, but one of my gf told me that it tasted like ju hua chai O_o

Day 2 ::-
Joseph poured a cup of Anything and it taste like zapple so i told joseph that he can finish the drink for me cos i am not a big fan of carbonated drinks... Took a slip and he told me that the Anything he took few days back tasted like coke O_o"

Conculsion ::-

Whatever & Anything doesn have their own taste, they all end up using other tastes for their carbonated and non carbonated drinks. Which is good cause every time someone will end up telling anything la when you ask them what they wan to drink, u can just grab a can and she will end up wit anything... O_O""

Don ask me why am i attending SDU and get certs that are approved by States and that it's even not 'common' in singapore. SDU = scrapbooking, are one of my top favourite 'hobby', and so what if its not a common cert in singapore.

Can u imagine how much i can earn back the next time after i got my certs and start to conduct lessons outside or even back at laines' or maybe even MWL. Thou maybe the earn back amount might not be a seriously BIG amount but at least i am doing something within my interest range and that its a skill that can be passed on to my daughter when she grow up or even to my surrounding friends and shann whom are into scrapping too.

So that make the 4 of u (my parents, joseph and myself) + 1 kid (which they don charge = free) eating at the price of 2 peoples which is around $74+++ (less then $80), and i got to eat chocolate fondue (strawberries, mashmallows and grapes selections), some very nice finger size pasteries, sushi, chinese crusines, tempuras, delicious cod fish, ice creams, prawns/crabs/ or some other seafoods selections depending on their kitchen ... etc etc ...

I ate like not the so usual portion (cos i belong to the "bo hua" kind of person when it come to buffet) i mean i ate so much i think i am going to bust of from my jean soon and its like i am pregnant again...

i am very sure some of you have already heard of the latest plan that CFR have. Finally, i have manage to finish up most of the designs and editing. So now…. the lauch of Couture Fashion Royale t shirts are now offically out for sale! and of cause, before you start to think that its one of the way to boost sale and have more money to enter my wallet.. YOU ARE WRONG! haha.. this time round, these CFR t shirts for a good cause… for every successful purchase, 50% or more of the sale will go to SPCA and other animal welfare organizations (Action of Singapore Dog,House Rabbit Society) in singapore.

Some humans buy dogs on impluse and just because they are cute, small etc etc which pretty much didn last long before the “excited” feelings start to ward off. all animals big or small deserve a life of love and care, not just a life of fear and survival. There are thousands of healthy stray dogs that are put to sleep every year, due to lack of space, resources and non acceptance by the majority of society.i choose to believe that each and every one of them deserve a second chance at life, and that includes the many sick and diseased strays that will never be given that chance to be healed, or a chance to experience the love and warmth of a home.

Those animal welfare organziations in singapore doesnt recieved much help from the government so somohow by lauching this CFR t shirts, might have to raise a little on going fund for them, the amount might be small but u never know how many animals can you save..

Been scraping recently and i realised that my style changed alittle... i have been scraping the clean line and simple way... now its soooo into cutting out the pattern on those patterns papers and re position them again on another cardstock or pattern paper to create and new look and playing around with flowers and brats... its so not usual style... been rather lazy recently, partly due to the fact that i isnt feeling too great and both my parents and my girl are sick... (its isnt easy handling 3 sick people @ home when you are sick too)

But these few days were kinda 'wasted' as levion had her jab on wed and gosh, she had fever on that night and all the way till fri, so i brought her and my hubby who happen to get sick as well to AMK polyclinic and please don remind how stupid the doc was

me : baby and daddy are having fever, baby have fever due to the pneumococcal jab that she had on wed

doc : pneumococcal jab?

me : yes. she had it at her own baby's doctor clinic

doc : so she didn took it from polyclinic? cos i have hardly deal with this case.

me : *speechless*

doc : checking her temperature etc etc

doc : so did the doc say anything abt the jab?

me : ya, she said it will lead to fever, swelling and reddness ...

doc : den most likely this fever is due to the jab

me : okay...

doc : so what happen to u, daddy?

him : fever and backache.

doc : ya, u do have some temperature running

him : yah, and i also have this backache still last sat evening

doc : it could be because of ur fever

him : but the back pain is still last sat

doc : ya ya ya, its the fever

him : but my fever is only yesterday

doc : ya, this fever pills that u are taking today will ease your back pain

him : huh

doc : i cant treat your fever and back pain together, they are totally different medication. Fever has fever own medication and back pain belongs to another medication. So now is either treat ur fever or ur back pain.

SAF medical team leaves for Taiwan to attend to injured servicemen

A team of five SAF doctors left for Taiwan on Friday afternoon.

They will be working with the Taiwanese medical authorities to stabilise the two SAF servicemen warded in the Intensive Care Units of Taipei Tri-service Hospital so that they can be brought back to Singapore as soon as it is medically advisable to do so.

The two servicemen who died in the incident have been identified as 19-year-old Corporal (CPL) Isz Sazli Bin Sapari and 22-year-old Private (PTE) Fan Yao Jin.

Their next of kin have been informed.

MINDEF and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the families of the late CPL Isz Sazli and PTE Fan, and will be assisting the families in their time of grief.

The Ministry has made arrangements for the next of kin of the affected SAF personnel to be flown to Taiwan.

They will be accompanied by family-liaison officers and counsellors from the SAF.

MINDEF and the SAF will continue to work with the Taiwanese authorities to provide support and assistance to the affected servicemen and their families.

:: Saw the name hightlighted in red, that's my sec sch class mate. He was a young hardworking guy who work and study at the same time during sch time, a rather doting and rare guy (as a bf) who truely love his gf (ex gf) despite anything. As a friend, a classmate, a school mate, he is a very thoughful and helpful. He been there for me (during my time with ryan), being the middleman, letting me know the true colours of this guy whom i so deeply in love with slowly without hurting me, telling me deep yet so true advices and words, lending me his shoudler and hugs of comfort during my down time (at the chalet after the 'accident').

This guy, thou we rarely contact, is someone whom i truely label as FRIEND. Someone, who left us for God's home, someone who can now have peace and look over his beloved ones, someone who can noe be free from his irrationally made mistakes and sorrowful moments. Thou he too have leave behind those who love him, placing hurts and tears on the shoulders of those who love him, but there is always something which he didnt take any - MEMORIES. Memories shared together with him shall always be craved deep within our hearts...

TV actor Christopher Lee jailed for drink-driving

SINGAPORE: MediaCorp actor Christopher Lee has been sentenced to four weeks in jail on charges relating to drink-driving.

He has also been fined S$4,500 and is disqualified from driving for three years.

His offences included causing injury to a motorcyclist and his pillion rider in a hit-and-run accident.

Lee arrived in court Thursday morning, accompanied by his lawyer and manager.

In passing his sentence, District Judge Terence Chua said Lee knew he had caused an accident, and could not be excused from failing to stop and check.

Breathalyser tests showed Lee's body contained twice the legal alcohol limit.

Lee had given over S$70,000 in compensation to the victims for their injuries, which the judge noted as "evidence of his remorse".

The judge said given the recent spate of drink driving accidents, a message must be sent to the public that "such risks are not acceptable and will continue to be sternly treated".

Lee will be appealing against the jail term, and is currently out on S$20,000 bail.

When contacted, MediaCorp Studios said it is inappropriate to comment at this time as Lee is appealing against the sentence. - CNA/ir/yy

Four dead in Taiwan F-5 fighter jet crash

TAIPEI, May 11 (Reuters) - A Taiwan fighter jet crashed on Friday during an exercise aimed at countering an attack by China, killing two Taiwanese pilots and two visiting Singaporean military officers on the ground, officials said.

The two-seater F-5F jet crashed in the grounds of a military base in Hukou, around 50 kilometres south of the capital Taipei, the Ministry of Defence said.

"They (The Singaporeans) have two killed and two injured. And we have two killed, but none injured," Defence Minister Lee Jye told reporters. "They were using our base for training."

Representatives from the Singapore Trade Office in Taipei, which is Singapore's de facto embassy in Taiwan, were unavailable for comment.
Due to a lack of adequate space on the small island state for large-scale exercises, Singaporean troops have been coming to train in Taiwan as part of a cooperative agreement -- code-named Operation Starlight -- since 1975.

The Ministry of Defence has grounded all F-5F fighters, pending the outcome of an investigation into the accident.

The crash comes as Taiwan's military prepares to hold the island's annual Han Kuang live fire drills aimed at repelling an attack from China next week.

China claims Taiwan as part of its own territory and has threatened war if the island was ever to declare formal independence.

Taiwan has roughly 60 of the ageing F-5 jets, according to analysts, and is seeking to buy around 60 advanced Lockheed Martin F-16C/D fighter aircraft to replace the F-5s, its Ching-kuo Indigenous Defense Fighters.

Paris Hilton may spend far less than 45 days in county jail for violating probation because of state policies and jail overcrowding, authorities said Thursday.

Hilton, sentenced last week to do the time, could spend three weeks or less behind bars because of a state requirement that grants inmates time off for good behavior and because of overcrowding in the system, Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.

"It's possible that it could be 21 days, 23 days. It's a complicated formula that the state sets down. It's possible that she could do less time," Whitmore said.

As for overcrowding, "our jail is bursting at the seams" and some women inmates have been released after serving only 10 percent of their sentence, Whitmore said.

Last year, "Lost" actress Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail for violating probation after her drunken driving arrest in Hawaii. She was released in hours because of overcrowding.

Hilton's time will be determined when she is booked into the county system, Whitmore said.

She will not receive any favors because she is a celebrity, he added.

"She's going to be treated like any other low-level security risk."
A call to Hilton's publicist seeking comment was not immediately returned.

Hilton, 26, was sentenced last week for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. A judge ordered her to report to the women's jail in Lynwood by June 5.

Hilton intends to appeal and her fans have posted a petition on the Internet urging Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to pardon her.

Headed down town during the late afternoon to meet up with silly tan and kjm, was supposed to meet alfred too but he decided to join his mother instead (which its prefectly understandable and forgiven)

So, that is what i got. So much for wanting this timepiece after i saw it in the magazine and only to understand that "the brand MIGHT be coming in". But it doesnt really matter much if the brand ISNT coming in to sg, cos i manage to find a website that sell Michael Kors timepiece and it have the design which i am eyeing for thou it cost much much more then the price stated in the magazine (local). *pondering* And Joseph suggested to get that Marc Jacobs shade for me as my mother day present which i sort of decline (don ask me why)

Anyway, silly tan want to get heels while i want to get something for my mother and not forgetting my mother in law (duh!), and i ended up getting scrapbooking stuff and a wooden frame with stretched canvas. Most likely i will be doing a altered scraped frame on top of a gift for mummy dearest (keeping the stretched canvas for myself, *to do painting*) and something-but-dont-know-what-thing for mother in law.

Judge Sentences Hilton to 45 Days in Jail

A judge sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in county jail Friday for violating her probation, putting the brakes on the hotel heiress' famous high life.

Hilton, who parlayed her name and relentless partying into worldwide notoriety, must go to jail on June 5 and she will not be allowed any work release, furloughs, use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled after a hearing.
The judge ruled that she was in violation of the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

"I'm very sorry and from now on I'm going to pay complete attention to everything. I'm sorry and I did not do it on purpose at all," she told the judge before he announced the sentence.

She was then ordered to report to a women's jail in suburban Lynwood on the set date or face 90 days behind bars. The judge's ruling excluded her from paying to serve time in a jail of her choice, as some are allowed.
As a city prosecutor said during closing arguments that Hilton deserved jail time, Hilton's mother, Kathy, laughed. When the judge ruled, Kathy Hilton, then blurted out: "May I have your autograph?"

Paris Hilton was among a series of witnesses who took the stand during the hearing. She testified she believed her license was initially suspended for 30 days and that she was allowed to drive for work purposes during the next 90 days.

She said that when an officer who stopped her in January made her sign a document stating her license was suspended, she thought he was mistaken and did not actually look at the document.

Also called to the stand was Hilton's spokesman, Elliot Mintz. Hilton and her attorneys characterized Mintz as a liaison between Hilton and her lawyers.

Mintz testified that to his knowledge Hilton did not drive during the 30-day period. He said he then advised her that he believed her license was no longer suspended.

The judge called Mintz's testimony worthless and expressed disbelief at Hilton's lawyers.

"I can't believe that either attorney did not tell her that the suspension had been upheld," the judge said.

"She wanted to disregard everything that was said and continue to drive no matter what."

Hilton looked forward and didn't speak to news media as she left court. Her mother looked upset.

When a reporter asked what she thought of the judge's decision, a visibly angry Kathy Hilton responded: "What do you think? This is pathetic and disgusting, a waste of taxpayer money with all this nonsense. This is a joke."

Defense attorney Howard Weitzman said he would appeal.

"I'm shocked, I'm surprised and really disheartened in the system that I've worked in for close to 40 years," Weitzman said.

He said the sentence was "uncalled for, inappropriate and bordered on the ludicrous."

"I think she's singled out because of who she is," Weitzman said.
Hilton had arrived at the Metropolitan Courthouse 10 minutes late and ignored screams of photographers as she swept in with her attorneys, mother and father, Rick Hilton. Wearing a gray jacket and white shirt over black slacks and with a black headband on, she said nothing and appeared serious.

The celebrity case brought an unusual scene to the austere courthouse south of downtown in a commercial area. As if at a red carpet event, dozens of photographers and reporters lined up at the rear entrance. Yellow police tape substituted for velvet ropes.

Hilton, 26, pleaded no contest in January to reckless driving stemming from a Sept. 7 arrest in Hollywood. Police said she appeared intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test. She had a blood-alcohol level of .08 percent, the level at which an adult driver is in violation of the law.
She was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.

Two other traffic stops and failure to enroll in a mandated alcohol education program, are what landed the socialite back in court.
On Jan. 15, Hilton was pulled over by California Highway Patrol. Officers informed her that she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging that she was not to drive, according to papers filed in Superior Court.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies stopped Hilton on Feb. 27 and charged her with violating her probation. Police said she was pulled over at about 11 p.m. after authorities saw the car speeding with its headlights off.

Mintz said at the time Hilton wasn't aware her license was suspended. A copy of the document Hilton signed on Jan. 15 was found in the car's glove compartment, court papers say.

Hilton was also required to enroll in an alcohol education program by Feb. 12. As of April 17, she had not enrolled, prosecutors said.
Hilton, heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, first gained notoriety for her hard partying as a teen. She attracted worldwide attention when a sex tape she made with a boyfriend was released on the Internet.
She stars in the reality-TV series, "The Simple Life," now in its fifth season, with Nicole Richie. She appeared in the 2005 film, "House of Wax" and recently finished filming "The Hottie and the Nottie." She also is a handbag designer and has a namesake perfume.

What Paris Can Expect Behind Bars

Hopefully, Paris Hilton likes chicken.She was sentenced Friday to 45 days at the Century Regional Detention Center, Los Angeles County's jailhouse for women just south of downtown in Lynwood.

Inmates there get three low-sodium meals a day, with dinner the only hot meal. Beef and pork aren't permitted _ "it's all poultry-based," said Capt. Alice Scott, who oversees the 2,200-inmate facility she describes as "a very nice place."

Like other high-profile Los Angeles County inmates _ O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, Robert Mitchum, Sirhan Sirhan and Charles Manson _ Hilton will be segregated from the general population for her own safety, living in a one- or two-person cell.

Inmates are allowed outside their cells for an hour each day to shower, watch television in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, Scott said. There are a bank of phones that use prepaid phone cards _ cellular telephones and Blackberries aren't allowed.

There have been other celebrities at the women's jail. Actress Daryl Hannah, arrested last year for failing to leave a 14-acre inner-city garden where farmers were being evicted, spent a few hours there.

Sometimes stars are allowed to do their time in a jail of their choosing. In such cases celebrities pay a daily room-and-board fee to the smaller jails, which afford them more privacy and comfort.

Sean Penn found a jail in Bridgeport, a remote town on the eastern flank of the Sierra, to serve a 60-day sentence in 1987 for fighting with a photographer in violation of his probation for a barroom brawl.

Cop-slapping actress Zsa Zsa Gabor served three days behind bars in 1990 at the El Segundo jail near the Los Angeles International Airport. She paid $85 a day.

But the judge in Hilton's case wouldn't allow such an arrangement, so she'll head to Lynwood on June 5.

Mothers Day is just around the corner. I am still trying to hunt the prefect gift for my mother, instead of the usual lip stick / body scrub / body care set / face care, i am thinking of something more personal and special and meaningful...

"Maybe i should do her a LO with frame?" I thought to myself the other day, but when i am browsing thur my many photos folders in my trusty laptop, out of all the thousands of photos i have stored, there isnt really 1 piece of photo of myself with my mum. I was surprised, shocked. How the hell have things becames like this? I mean, i love taking photos so how cant i not have any photos of myself with my mother.

This lady have been with me for the past 20 over years, taking care of me with love and uttermost care. Though she might not be the best mother in the world, or the clever person. Though she is like blur blur, living in her own logic manner and replying far too much on my dad, but she is still my mother. My mother, we screams at one another and people thought we are quarrelling but we are not. My mother, support me fiancially most of the time and "sponser" or "refund" most of my sprees.

My mother, anyhow throw away her shares just to have some extra cash when i gave birth last year. My mother whom hates to go shopping with me cos i walked non stop but still accompany me at the end of the day.

My mother, a lady, working hard for her precious daughter and family. Saving every cents and dollars and spend all on us. And never wish that we will get hurt or sick.

My mother, some one whom i loved so dearly.

And now, that i have become a mother myself since 2006, i have realised far too many things, and also realised that the things which i hated it so much about my mother when i was younger, are also the things which i am doing too. Haha~ Thou i am not as protective to levion like my mother is to me, but like my mother, we share the equal amount of worries about our own children. Unlike my mother, i am still learning to be a mother where she is already learning to be a grandmother, but something so true is that no matter what we are or what we have become, the love from a mother to a child is never false and never decreasing, it just keep increasing days by days, weeks by weeks.

So, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY ! to all dearest mumy out there. <3

Synopsis

Your friendly neighborhood web-slinger is back, only this time his sunny outlook has become partially overcast in the third chapter of director Sam Raimi's Spider-Man saga. Victoria Beckham rang in the big 3-3 this week (well, at least parts of her did), and she celebrated much like the rest of us: She did a little shopping and had a nice dinner out. The "meticulously planned" 12-hour getaway included a private plane to take them from Madrid to the City of Light (estimated cost: $50,000), a suitcase crammed with new clothes and one-on-one time with the bygone Posh's fave designers.

"Victoria thought that she'd have a really low-key birthday, just going for a Chinese meal with David and their [three] boys," a mole tells the paper. "But when she woke up, David asked her to get in the car -- he'd already packed a bag full of clothes he'd bought for her."

The ink-covered Beckham (his right arm is now obscured by an elaborate "Prison Break"-like etching) then surprised his narrow but notoriously pneumatic spouse with private fittings at Christian Louboutin, where she reportedly walked away with a pair of custom-made $3,000 stilettos, and Azzedine Alaia, which netted her a $14,000 gown.

Says the snitch of the typically stony-faced Posh, "She was almost overcome."

:: Writing this post as a mother ::

Before i start, i have a good piece of new to share... Levion managed to walk 6 steps on her own without support last night... Hurray!!

Levion is turning 13 months in a few more days time. At some part of this past 13 months, i have both my fun and horrible period with her. There are also times where is seriuosly wish she will just grow up but there are also times, like last night, i wish she will just stay like that for a little while more.

13 months... i have been with her every single days of her short 13 months life on this world. Been thur with most of her "First" in her life, thou taking care of her isnt a easy task, taking care of her is my own way, a way which i think it should be the right way a totally different way from my parents and of cause, there will surely be "destoryer" along the way to destory my own way of bringing up levion. In this case, the "destoryers" are both my parents. They have upgraded themselves from a parents to grandparents and their mental thinking changed too, they feel that as grandparents, their job is to dote and say "yes" to everything what levion wants, playing with her, carrying her all day long etc. So they also have their own way... *faint*

13 months.... i been with her all her development stages. From a little bunble baby wrapped up in a blacket to the mike tyson boxing session (learning to explore her four limps so she will kick her legs and move her hands like boxing), to her learning to flip from her front to back and fliping back to front again, to her learning to crawl, to her learning to stand up with support like table or sofa to her learning to stand up for a while without support, to her first tooth to her 7 teeths, and now to her first step.

Everytime she make a progress in her development stages, i am very proud and happy for her but at the same time i am sad. Proud, because she stepped out of her comfort zone to make progress in her learning life. Sad, because she is growing up and soon she will be growing further from me, she will not be the small little baby who want to be carry or crawling around the house showing her cute little innocent face.

13 months... i have done all i could to remember and cherish every single minutes of her life. Took tons of photos every day, every week and every month just to remember every single cherishable moments of her. There are some photos that are so similar to one another but to me, they are all so different and special.

13 months.... is not enough for me to show her how much she meants to me, how much happiness, laughters she have bring to the family thou there are times she is a big monster and make me so so so angry with her but all this doesnt make me love her any lesser.

Cooking session

:: Bread Pizza ::

You need [as seen above] :

cheese (can be any cheese, shredded or sliced, in my case i use kraft's pizza chesse)

ham or hotdog (in my case, i am using ham)

pineapple (canned type as its sweeter)

mushrooms or shrooms (i am using shrooms)

butter (optional)

breads (i am using white breads ::not shown in picture::)

Instruction :

Heat your oven first (160'C) and while your oven is heating up. You -:

Slice the chesse, hams, shrooms and pineapples into thin strips or cubes whatever you prefer.

Spread a thin layer of butter onto the bread.

Spread a little bit of everything onto the bread (hams, cheese, pineapples & shrooms)

Do spread a little bit chesse bits on the top of everything.

If you like it to be more chessy, you could add a whole piece of chesse on the bread instand of spreading the thin layer of butter.

Spread the done breads nicely on a baking tray (don need to grease the tray) and wait for 20 mins or until the chesse melt.

Please note that 20 mins is just a rough estimated time as your oven could be different from me so when the chesse start to pop bubbles and melt, just wait for a few more mins before taking the tray out.

Now, you have your very own pizza bread ~~~~~

:: New vision of "Fried Rice" ::

Serves : 3 people

You need [in this case] :

carrot (1/2)

ham (2 - 3 pieces)

cabbage (small one, uses 1/2)

mushrooms (6 pieces )

dried shrimps ( a handfull )

Instruction :

Add your rice grains into your rice cooker bowl and add in the needed amount of water. Then you :-

soak the dried shrimps in a bowl of water first.

add a little bit of salt into your rice cooker bowl.

chopped the mushrooms and cabbages into little pieces, slice the hams into thin strips and place everything including the already soaked dried shrimps into the cooker bowl.

And now, you can cook the rice and sit back relax.

The rice will look like this when it's done, if you wish to have more favour, you could add a little bit of oyster sauce into the done rice.

:: Mai Po Tofu & Mixed Vegetables ::

You need :

::Mixed Vegetables::

carrot (sliced)
shrooms and/or mushrooms (sliced)
brocoli
gan bei
chopped garlic
oyster sauce
pepper (black/white)
onion (optional) (sliced)
chicken broth (optional)

Boil a pot of water (add a few drops of cooking oil into the water to let the vegetables have a nice shine coating) upon boiling, add in the *carrots and brocoli in. Leave them for a few mins then process to add the mushrooms. Let them boil for another min or two. After which, drain the vegetables (u might wish to keep a bowl of the boiled vegetables water)

*[carrots and brocoli are rather hard so they tend to need a slightly longer boiling period to make them softer, where as mushrooms are soft so they are to be added in in the later part. DON ATTEMPT TO PUT THEM IN AT ONE TIME.]

Heat up the wok with tiny bit of oil. Add the chopped garlic and/or onions into the heated wok and stri fry until the garlics have turned dark brown.

Pour in the previous boiled vegetables, gan bei and 1/2 bowl water or the boiled vegetables or chicken broth.

Add a little bit oyster sauce and sprinkle some pepper.

Cover the wok with a lid and let it shimmer for a while.

(Pour in some more water if u feel that the water in the wok is dying up.)

Before placing the done vegetables on the plate, add in a little bit of starch (corn flour + a few drops of water) stir well.

:: Mo Po Tofu ::

You will need :

Chicken broth
red chillie
silken tofu
minced meat (pork/chicken)
black pepper
black bean paste / shi chun paste (optional)

Instruction :

Marinade the minced meat with some salt, light and dark sauces, pepper, a tiny bit of oyster sauce and seaseme oil. Then you :-

cut the silken tofu into cubes.
slice the red chillie into thin slices.

Heat with wok with some cooking oil. Place the minced pork into the heated wok and stri fry until 40% cooked.

Add in the chicken broth, sliced red chillie, droplets of dark sauce and/or the black bean/shi chun paste.

When it have come to a boil, add in the cubes silken tofu and lots of black peppers (cut down the peppers if u are not a fan of it)

And there you go, mixed vegetables and mo po tofu.

BUT,

Not this 15 year old girl. She's dying to have a baby and have had unprotected sex with 15 different guys for 300 over times, she have even brought tons of baby stuffs and was also caught by her mum 3 times (she was naked at the time of being caught, with the guy/stranger) on her mum's bed. The first time when she was caught by her mum, she did stop and get off and listen to her mum but subsquently she ignored and just went on to finish up the actions.

Went to yin hui's (joseph's friend) wedding last sunday @ Orchid Country Club. It was a lunch event, 9 courses meal, food was alright. I am kinda lazy to type much cos i am msning with a silly girl who have kinda confuse me here and there. So let the picutures do the talking.

Heading down to Marina Square after the lunch and werid thing is, both myself and joseph arent full from the lunch. Hahah~ Why? Cos we got 3 scary eaters sharing the table with us and the way they ate, just scared us away.

Desset @ Galeria, if u wan to have a availabe seats at the cafe, try level 3, the one behind the Toy R Us, its emtpy unlike the level 2 one. I will always go to the level 3 one and of cos becos its the children section too.hahaha~

A post dated entry - levion's 1 year old birthday celebration @ SAF changi chalet

I brought levion over on 17th march, sat thou the chalet was from 15th -19th march. She got pretty excited on that when we arrived, its like as if she knows something big and fun is goin on later in the evening. Relatanly, she had her afternoon sleep while we are waiting for the carter to arrive around 4.30pm.

I brought Snowie and 7 drawfs (the cake name) from Orchard Taka, Leave Heaven (its also four leave), it wasnt something which i wanted but it was near, the cake was nice but too sweet cos i had to order chocolate coating to prevent the cake from melting but seriously i think a white base will look much better den a black base.

Well, we brought levion down to pet safari @ vivo city level 3 yesterday.

Last week, we were at vivo city too, but i have totally forgotten to buy my doughnut so the first time when we arrived at vivo city is to BUY MY VINCO DOUGHNUT!!!!

A happy me with my finally get on my hands doughnuts... Guess how many i brought ! hahaha~ answer towards the end of this entry.

As we wasnt very sure where the hell was pet safari located at vivo city, we walked around and tryin to hunt for the place so therefore, we ended up looking like tourists.. Don believe see below

Cause after buying doughnuts, we headed up to Daiso but the thoughts of carrying all the stuffs made us stop and decided to get them when we are about to go home, so we went down and went to the other side of vivo and got back to level 3 and start our hunt. But guess what! Pets safari is only like opposite of Daiso !!!!!!!! So much of walking a big round when its only just in front. -_-''

This is one of my favourite piece from my wedding outdoor shot.

It happened about nearly a year and a half ago, being an active pregnant lady running around under the big hot sun with the heavy wedding grown and a nice silver with crystal studs heel at the beach of sentosa thou its not as perfect as i wish it will turn out to be, but it was good enough.

1 and a half year into marriage life, should i be happy or sad? happy that i

survive the first year? or sad that i have lost most of my single happy moments for one year? this i am still contridicting myself too. Am i happy or sad in this one year or am i contented with what have been going on for the past year? its a yes and no answer. I have saddness, happiness, hatefulness, contentment, doubtness...

There were times (most of the times actually) that i feel that i may be married but it have no difference at all whether i have a husband or not cos it just make no changes. He is hardly around ( he work from 2pm-1am, off once a week ), even if he is around, he is more to like a couch potatoe and we can say hardly have any similar topic to talk about or any conversation is being exchange except for maybe "What did princess do today? Is she naughty? Did she make u angry?" or maybe "What u had for dinner? Did any thing today?". To some, u might think, this is CONVERSATION, but to me, i need something much deeper, more soul.. i know its a way of showing care too from him to me, but there are times where i just wish to have a nice warm hug, a fruitful heart-to-heart talk instead of the usual everyday question like "what u had for dinner?" There are nights where i want to be hug to sleep and not just spreading your hand open and let me rest my head on ur chest kind of hug, a hug that have ur arm wrap around me tight and warm while i rest on ur chest or shoulder and doze off to wonderland. There are nights where i hate the usual pattern of us sleeping, where there is a space big enough to fit in another person in between us and worse, us back facing back (thank god my baby girl cot is just right beside me so i can watch her sleep), so what if u kiss me good night every time we sleep. Its just not enough.

Before you guys start to go, "You girls are never enough of stuffs", "You are always not contented", or "Like this still not enough".

Sit down and think (whether you r a female or male), is it ever enough.

It was quite a no choice cos my V3x was slightly ruined by my baby levion, the speaker is getting softer, thankz to her daily saliva coating. I had a test this morni at 0825 hrs, a warm up revision be4 that at 0730 hrs and at 0905 i got a result.... I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST !! yes!! I PASSED ON VALENTINES' DAY!!! hahaha~~ hoo ohhhoo~ wat a great valentines' day gift given to me by ssdc after spending so much cash on the lessons, booking of test date, revision lessons... finally i can see "bye bye" to ssdc, say "bye bye" to my every thurs early morning wake up session and seeing the first ray of sunlight coming out. seems like a brand new year isnt that bad for me... cant wait for my arrival of my photocard liscense within the next 2 weeks. =)

well, recently i was busy clearing up the house, ironing bed sheets and clothings, cleaning and i CLEARED my wardrobe and now i can see SPACES (does it mean its time to shop again??? hahaha~~ the cycle revolve itself)

these are how many clothings i have within the small space and how messy it has became.... seriously i have clear tons n tons of stuffs out and packed them into 2 big black trash bag - 1 for throwing away another is for the upcoming LIME flea market... and its really alot!!! wat is worse is i haven included my mum's old clothings and joseph's old clothings too... *faint* unbelieveable mess and wat a great deal of space i saw on in my wardrobe... *wink*

Chinese new year is such a great excue to shop and buy buy buy. Finally I mean FINALLY i get to step out of my house and go shopping with my dear and little princess (cos i was at home for the past 1 week, wat to do i was down with flu,fever,cough! damn) and i have already did abit of damages to my wallet the afternoon before, nono i didn step out of my house, i went online shopping with stephy and shann at Hollister and we spent a grand total of USD 300++++++ nearly 400..
Here goes all my damages done with the past 24 hours... scary.. within 24 hours i spent tons

wednesday

so much of saving... in e end spent so much... *faint*
oh ya, i am sure a couple of weeks ago some of u guys recieved me sms asking wat kind of make up brush set u r using and wat u brand would u recommend rite... well, my outcome was most of u guys will say bobbi brown brush set, well seriously bobbi brown brushes are really god send brushes... they r soft damn soft but i didn buy...hahaha... i brought dior brush set instead... the set that bobbi down is selling didn really have all the brushes i need so if i were to get the set and add on those i need it will be costing me around $4-500 so i ended up buyin the dior set and add on a concealer brush add up to around $200+ around half of the price which i have to pay for bobbi brown, i did thought of getting Mac, but they selling 2 kinds of brush set, 1 is face brush set and another one is eye brush set which cost around $90+ each set but seriously i don need most of the other brushes if i were to buy the 2 sets together cos i only need the ideal so called basic brushes like face brush, blusher brush, eye shadow brush (ok, brushes cos i already got 2 eye shadown brushes but i prefer to have more eye shadow brushes so they con collide and mix with other different colours and ruin the actual colour shade), concealer brush, blaeder... so i got dior set and just need to add on the concealer brush.

did i mention too i went down to chinatown last night with my parents... after the shopping trip at orchard, was there for only like an hour, nothing much goin around, not much of a new year mood unlike the past past years but well, good thing is no sweating and pushing senaroies goin on last night, weather was good so were the crowds... but levion was excited and chuckling all the way at chinatown.. kpo girl!!

Why isnt u not working? this seems to be a very common questions to be asked to those stay at home mums recently, even myself was being asked thousand of times. not that my husband is earning tons of thousands and millions that able to stay at home and enjoy myself and not working, neither am i not interested in working. my reasons to be a stay at home mum is kinda simple.
1) there isnt really someone that i can trust to take care of levion. (yes! that include my in law as well) my own parents are bothing working.
2) there isnt any strong n vaild reason for me to be working n missing out in the growing up stages of levion and not being able to be there to notice her "first" times.
3) being a stay at home mum ables me to take care and being up levion in my own ways and methods and allows me to understand my own kids better than anyone else.
when i was a baby, i was being taken care by my granny (my mum's mum) until about 1 year old, my parents brought a flat (the current one that i am living since) den i was taken care by my grandparents who live just a couple of blocks away from mine. thou seriously, i couldn remember what happen during my early years of childhood, how i was taken care of when i was a baby a toddler, or even how my parents was there. my relationship with my granny and grandparents were great. i used to remember how my mum will bring me over to my granny's place for home cooked fish ball bee hood almost every weekend and granny will always wait for me by the door way and grandpa will be downstair waiting for me (thou very often he will say he is there talkin and chattin with friends outside one of the shop) and the wonderful fishball bee hood very often placed nicely in a big bowl on the coffee table just in front of the tv (my fav spot) waiting for me. i even remember wat happen on the day when she passed away but i cant really remember clearly wat happen to my grandpa who passed on much later aft her. i also remember very clearly how i was being taken care and taught by my grandparents from 1 years old onwards. I remember i have to wake up real early to leave home with my parents and they will send me to grandparents place before they went off to work and well, everytime even till i got into primary sch, i will automatically go straight to the long sofa by the main door and sleep there instead of goin to the room (haha! very tiring u know so see the first available thing will rush there to sleep more), and hw i will take out all the pots and pans from the cabinets and start my concert while my grandmother is cooking, hw she will chase around the house tryin to feed me, bringin me out for walks and shopping, teaching me how to make dumplings,telling me stories abt how i behave when i was small aft i have grown up, bringin me downstair to wait for school bus aft my lunch and waiting for me downstair during the evening aft my school well, my grandparents have been around for most of my "first" from my first time to sch, first time to the doc, first time when my tooth fell off, first time i fell down and hurt myself etc etc... all this are something which my parents cant be there to personally view.
so now that i have my chance, i too wish to be there for my kids. i wan to be there for their first crawl, first tooth, first hair cut, first step, first word...etc... all this are something money cant buy, all this are special and priceless memories that only parents can enjoy, so tell me is working and hiring a maid to look after them while u workin and not being there to spend time and having bonds with ur kids important?If u are still wondering, really so important, kids have no memories abt themselves and wat happen when young. but YOU have memories abt what happen which u can tell them when they grow up and even show them pictures of their growing stages (that is why i enjoy takin pictures of levion so much). Let me share of useful informations abt the early years of childrens from 0-3 years den u judge urself hw many things u n ur child could have miss out n the bond that could not be build together if u r working.

its isnt easy to like go around to please everyone. seriously i am wondering (see wondering again ) why cant every one be living nicely and say happily and no one is bitching abt one another or making other ppl life up side down. been trying to be nice and making things "nice" for both parties but some time it is so HARD n seriously it is really hard to shut people's mouth up and stop them from spouting rubbish and to even ruin ur reputation.

i was clearing up my old room just hours ago, managed to dig out lots of past "memories" from letters to photographs, to those autograph books (some nice cute books which were passed around during school days, which sch mates write some bio data and messages), to those neo prints that were taken so ancient time ago to new years and christmas greetings cards and not forgetting birthday cards.

letters... ... cards... ... ...there are really seriously quite a huge amount of letters and cards that i have kept behind for the past so many years ( with the earliest dating 1992 ). During the earlier schooling days at marymount convent (that is my primary sch if u r wondering) there are hardly much letters until the late pri sch days onwards, during that time email isnt really "available" to the age groups and well, girls will very often like things that are cute and sweet and aborable. So i belongs to that group of people who enjoys buying letters pads or letters sets to keep as a hobby.

i took out ramdomly a letter out and read the content, it was from karen and the next thing without realising i ended up reading all the letters.... and looking thur all the photos.... opening up all the cards to read...

the hand made birthday card on my birthday with baby boy, baby girl, spidey and xiao ke ai pictures in as well... a nice sentimental words card to express ur feelings on our 1st year anniversary... the neo prints and those hum hum pictures that we took (which were quite alot of them cos we reared quite a small bit of hum hum) and a date book which inside filled with ur likes, dislikes, the date n time n location of our meeting place, short notes on some occessions and some private thoughts.

u r a very special person to me, u r not only my tutor, u r my friend my listener during the time u taught me, u have left behind many wonderful memories. u have never treat me like ur student, nor as a little kid. u treated me like how u would treat a friend. we exchange our problems and joys, our life and relationships. thou we might have lost contacts ever since u stopped teaching me to persude ur studies oversea. u will always be dearly missed and remembered by me and i am still in hope that we will be able to see or contact one another soon.

The 15x Lash Long Black Mascara At first, what caught me is their nice classic packaging, and when i got my hands on this, i simply love this to core. (Depsite, my all time fav Dior makeup) Its not clampy like what most mascara can turn out to be on the lashes especially when its for volume too. I hate it when my lashes clamp together and they isnt that nicely even out unless you like clampy lashes its another story for u, but for me, clampy lashes is a big NO-NO! And since no one is available to send them to me from taiwan and i am lazy to keep goin to buy online from different people that are selling them and there are even times i got my mascara nearing to dry up by the time i got the item. So now, i got myself a deal with the supplier so i am dealing with them instead of goin thur a third or maybe a fourth party.

happy one year wedding anniversary

One year into the wedding life, 6+ months into motherhood. Its seems to be a long path, with all the ups and downs, sour and sweet moments. Marriage and relationship is totally different, its so damn huge difference. Being in a relationship mean u are attached and at the same time you are still available for more choices, being in a marriage mean u are attached and its hard for you to be available for more choices, being in a motherhood mean u are seriously attached and u are not only hard to be available for more choices, u are also prone to be choose as well.

Being a wife is different from being a girl friend, and now being a mother is more different. As a wife, you need to make sure your husband is well taken care of, and to sort of maintain a good or well maintain relationship with your in-laws (in my case, don even bother to ask me abt this question, long story don ask. ), taking care of your own parents as well so as not to make them feel lonely or miss u too dearly and also having to take care of everything even the tinest thing in the household. And if u own a house, it mean u have to take charge of the bills and making sure all expenses are enough to last u for the month and that u can save as well. And if u have kids, worse, more expenses are needed (their milk powder, pampers etc). As a mother, u can sleep until ur little angels have already slept well in the night, and u have to wake up when they wake up, u got to make sure they are well fed and are warm, teach them in a well manner way and hopefully they will have a much better and well life path in the future. ETC ETC (shall not go into much details)

But all and all, i enjoyed my time as a wife as a mother, there will sure be times where i seriously feel that i need to take a break (cos being a full time mother can be exhusting at times) but seeing the little smile and those little hugs that the naughty little angel gives shall does the wonder.
